TIFT Playday and a trip to the Ranch

Catching some ducks...he loved this game the 1st year he entered so he had to re-visit for old times sake! ;)

Hippity Hop Races

Fishing for catfish with my sunglasses on...he knows mine are polarized, so he asked to wear them so he could see the fish better!

Love this picture because my mom, brother and grandmother all stand like this, and now I am catching Landon doing it as well!  Must be in his genes!

"Offshore" fishing ~ Reeling in a BIG marlin.  This was actually  pretty hard event!

The fishing simulator~this was pretty cool!  Look at that face of determination as he reels in the big one!

Off to see the ranch...if you look closely you can see Daisy peeking over the side beside Landon!

Landon has fished in the Texas International Fishing Tournament the last 3 years.  Each year they kick off the tournament with a playday for the kiddos.  This was the first year that he was old enough to get the most out of all the activities.  They had jump houses and a HUGE inflatable slide but the best for him were all the fishing events.  There was a stocked catfish tank, a fishing simulator, an offshore fishing station (he reeled in a "marlin" with a real offshore rod and reel) and a mullet relay!  So fun...he is obsessed with fishing and was in complete heaven doing all of this!

Later that day we headed to my Dad's and brother's ranch.  Landon thought he was big stuff riding in the back of the "ranch" vehicle.  Thanks for the tour Pa!
