Gearing up for summer :)

Ms. Amanda and Landon

Landon started swim lessons a month ago and is having the time of his life. He has no fear and loves being in the water, so it is due time that he really learns to swim. We have been pleased with his new swim school - "Love to Swim." I just love seeing him in his goggles. He is already talking about skiing, swimming and Schlitterbahn...he will be ready to use his new skills. :)

Let's Rodeo San Antonio

Landon and Jake "drilling" holes!

Being good little students and listening to the cow milking presentation :)

Cute little piggies

"Driving" the tractor

Hot Beef Sundae~I would totally recommend this...YUM-O!

Okay, so the title is misleading because we did not actually go to the rodeo...we went to the stock show grounds, but I love saying, "Let's Rodeo San Antonio!" Landon and his friend, Jake, have swim class on Wednesday mornings in Schertz so we decided to head the rest of the way into San Antonio and take them to the SA Livestock show. They got to see LOTS of animals, "drive" tractors, watch cows get a bath, jump in bounce houses, pet goats, sheep and llamas and see a cow get milked!

Hunter in the making...

So excited about all the bucks he is seeing!

Saying, "Boom, Boom, Boom"

Shooting the big buck!

While I was making Landon breakfast he took it upon himself to find one of Brian's hunting/fishing magazines and was happily going through it and excitedly identifying all the fish and animals! He came across a picture of a BIG buck and was saying "Big buck, boom, boom, boom!" He then left the kitchen and returned with his toy gun and proceeded to shoot the buck on the page. He loves shooting at Brian's animal mounts in the office but apparently this buck was much bigger than any of Daddy's mounts. Brian was very pleased to hear about this when he got home from work. :)

Starbucks...not just for coffee lovers!

This picture does not do it total justice but you have to trust me on this...it looks YUMMY!

The taste test

As you can see...he is very pleased!

I really enjoy a good latte from Starbucks. For just about every holiday or special event my parents and/or other family members give me a Starbucks gift card and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that! Starbucks is a treat for me and I generally only go when I have a GC. Thank goodness Christmas was just here! Landon is usually with me and he rarely gets anything but this time I asked if he wanted chocolate milk and, of course, he enthusiastically said, "Oh yeah!" I order his milk and was shocked to see just what a "kids chocolate milk" looks like. It was topped with lots of whipped cream and had chocolate syrup drizzled all over it. I was quite impressed and Landon gave it a two thumbs up as well! I think a Starbucks GC will be on his wish list to Santa next year...I am sure he will even hit up the Easter Bunny. Never hurts to ask!

And the party never ends...

Landon at Gruene Hall...I LOVE this face! He was having so much fun!

The boys dancing/running in circles. They had a blast and released a lot of energy!

Look at that Birthday dessert!

Landon is pretty pleased with it also...you can tell by the look on his face!

Landon and Ethan digging in :)

Silly face and a death grip on the HUGE strawberry!

Blowing out his 4th set of birthday candles for the year!

He took a tiny break to let me get a quick photo with him :)

Sweet Kaila, his little buddy

Rowan playing one of the favorite games of the day...look at that concentration!

The group

Life with twins...Tato does an amazing job!

After Landon's party we met several family and friends at Gruene Hall and let the kiddos dance to the music and the adults got to hang out and catch up before we ventured over to Gristmill for a fabulous dinner! If you have never been there on your birthday and you love strawberry shortcake you need to pay them a visit on your next big day! It is amazingly tasty...glad Landon shared his with me! :)

Monday was Landon's actual birthday and we headed to Chuck E. Cheese's with some friends and family for lunch and LOTS of playtime! Landon LOVES that place...he can still do without Chuck E. himself though! He had an awesome birthday and is still talking about all the fun things he did.

He is our little ball of fire and we are so blessed to have him in our life. He brings a smile to our face daily and always says something that makes us laugh! :)

Happy 3rd Birthday Landon!
