The Yutzy Family

The Boys~Christopher, Landon and Cameron

The Girls~Elli, Bethany and Abby

Landon cheesing it up between shots :)

Landon and Christopher playing with the marble toy...this kept them very entertained!

G-Ma reading a Christmas book about Jesus before we open presents

Landon opening his police car. I love Abby's expression in the background!

He was happy to find these in his stocking!

Sporting the John Deere hat he got...he loves hats and John Deere so this was perfect!

This year we celebrated Christmas in Kansas with Brian's side of the family. We were able to be there a week this year, so we had lots of great family time. Landon loves all his cousins and enjoyed playing with all the awesome toys that G-Ma and Papa have at their house. The basement is a child's dream...every toy imaginable (fun vintage ones as well)! The guys grilled steak, chicken and salmon for the Christmas meal and then G-Ma made some fabulous sides to go along with it. YUMMY! I can still taste it all as I type this. The kiddos enjoyed opening presents and playing with new toys! We had a Very Merry Christmas~Thanks G-Ma and Papa for having all of us at your house! I know it seemed like a circus at times but we made some great memories. :)

Christmas at our Home

Merry Christmas!

Santa came to town and brought the black truck he had been asking for since October!

Santa filled Landon's stocking with care :)

He went straight to the black truck and said, "It is the best ever!"

The marble maze was a hit too!

Digging in his stocking...

Showing Daddy a little black truck that hauls a tractor

We celebrated Christmas as a family before we headed to Kansas. We were relieved that Santa was willing to make an early visit...he said that it would help him out on Christmas Eve. This has been the most exciting Christmas yet with Landon. He was thrilled and talked about Christmas for months. Hope everyone had a Very Merry Christmas!

Sea World's Christmas Celebration

Landon and Mommy on the roller coaster

Shamu...my favorite show!

Landon in his Rockstar shirt watching in awe at the awesome Sesame Street performance

He has come a LONG way...this is the 1st time he has gotten so close to one of these dressed up characters :)

In front of the giant Christmas tree

This is not the best picture, but I wanted you to see the scuba diver dressed as Santa

Last picture of the day...poinsettia pose!

Landon and I went to Sea World on Sunday and hit all the main shows...Clyde and Seamore, Shamu and Sesame Street. They were all based on Christmas and were very well done. Shamu is my favorite and brings tears to my eyes everytime...the show is simply amazing! Clyde and Seamore is just plain funny and Sesame Street brings joy to Landon's eyes and he just about danced through the entire show! We visited the aquarium, the dolphin pool and the Christmas Walk-About where all the Sea World characters were dressed in their Christmas gear and the scenery was very festive looking with "snow" falling as well. :) Landon's big highlight was riding the Shamu Rollercoaster...he loves that ride. We have definetly taken advantage of our pass this year and have truly enjoyed each trip to SW!

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Telling Santa that he wants a black truck for Christmas

Landon and Mommy in front of the downtown Christmas tree

Landon's preferred way to travel at Wassailfest so he could see all the sights!

Yummy s'mores

Absolutely lovin' the firetruck ride at Budafest

Maddie, Landon and Grace at Budafest

December is a busy month...there are so many fun things to take part in and we try our best to hit most of the events. We bundled up and headed downtown to Wassailfest last Thursday and Landon's most favorite part was running full speed around the huge Christmas tree. The weather continued to be chilly so we made some s'mores and those were very tasty and just the thing to have on a cold night. Saturday we headed to Buda and met my dear friend, Bridgette, and her girls at Budafest. It is such a great small town Christmas event...vendors, a parade, carnival rides, etc. It is such a great season and we are having a fun time enjoying all the events!

Thanksgiving Ranch Style

Some of the family enjoying the pond.

Putting an earthworm in Meme's face

Fun with a fish stringer

A little buck came and ate some corn

The men and Landon hanging out by the fire

Driving the tractor

He was on this A LOT!

We celebrated Thanksgiving in the Weesatche/Goliad area. Landon loves being outdoors, so this was a great holiday adventure for him. He drove the tractor and Gator every time he got a chance. The Van Klompenburg Family had us over for Thanksgiving day. That was a treat...fried turkey and all the trimmings were enjoyed by all in our family. We were able to see deer, cows, dogs, ducks and several other outdoor creatures on our long weekend...Landon was in paradise! He is such a big boy now and amazes us with what he says and does!

Weekend at the Ranch

Helping Daddy fill the feeders

"Oh my word!" - That is what Landon would say each time he caught a fish!

Driving his tractor...off to see cows!

I am so bummed I missed the actual kiss, but this is the face he made afterward!

This is one of his favorite things...driving the Gator :)

We went to the ranch as a family over the weekend and had a great time. Landon LOVES being out there...riding/driving the Gator, fishing, being on the tractor, running ALL over, helping Daddy fill feeders, seeing the cows (especially Bully Bully) and getting into mischief! He calls himself a "Ranch Boy!" Daddy got to hunt while we enjoyed the great outdoors. Market Days happened to be going on in Goliad, so Mommy got to do a little shopping! It was nice to get away for the weekend and have absolutely no plans.

Meet Frank and Freida

Frank and Freida are our yard decorations for the Fall season and Landon just loves these "people"! When we first put them up he had to go see them every morning when he woke up and go tell them "goodnight" before he went to bed. He also always tells them "bye" or "adios" as we pull out the driveway. When we see other scarecrows in stores or at pumpkin patches he will tell us that they are Frank and Freida's friends. Silly boy...these may only last one season since we already had to hot glue their clothes back on so we will definitely be buying new ones next year!

Happy Halloween!

Landon as a Marshall

William, Sydney and Landon taking a break from Trick-or-Treating to pose for a picture!

Trick-or-Treating

He actually threw the hula hoop over the horse and made it :)

Landon had so much fun Trick-or-Treating this year. He knows what candy is this year and totally got the whole concept. He would say "Trick-or-Treat" to get his candy and "Thank You" once the candy was dropped in his bucket. He was very excited about his bag of loot and has had more candy in the last two days than he has in his 2 years and 9 months of life!!

Pumpkin Carving

Picking out the perfect pumpkin :)

Meme and Landon digging in the pumpkin

Scooping out the guts

The finished product...Landon picked out the design on the computer.

My parents came into town and we searched for the perfect carving pumpkin. We found it, but not without several rolling off the pumpkin mountain in the process. It was quite the site...Landon thought it was hilarious. We needed video of that. Once we got home we dug all the guts out and let Landon choose the design from looking at several on the computer. He chose bats over the typical Jack-O-Lantern face. He was not a fan of the guts though...Meme and I had to do most of the dirty work.
