Sneaky Easter Bunny

He won the Cousin Fishing tournament this year too!

We celebrate Easter every year at my parent's place in Goliad.  A fun time is always had out there.  A large group of cousins from my mom's side get together, so we catch up with family that we rarely see and the kiddos always have a great time playing together.  They put on an Easter egg hunt  in dowtown Goliad the Saturday before Easter.  Landon truly had it all figured out this year.  He scoped out which eggs he wanted and ran straight for them when the hunt started.  He ran for the football egg first and then a camo one, etc. :)  He even got to fish with Cousin Lara at The LaPaHa Ranch where he caught a HUGE catfish and got to eat it for supper Saturday night!  We had a wonderful time with family once again and look forward to seeing everyone again next year!  Thanks to all the family that come out every year for this reunion...makin' memories!

School Easter Egg Hunt

The Whole Gang...Ms. Bobbi has her hands full! :)

Landon and Ms. Bobbi - He "woves" her!

Landon's class got to hunt Easter eggs and put them in the super cute basket they made!  They were on a mission at this hunt...they had to find an egg of each color and the bunny hid these eggs really well.  The kiddos had to search for them.  I love watching Landon with all of his friends.  He loves going to school and that makes me so happy! :)

MOPS Easter Egg Hunt

Waiting for the big hunt! :)

Playing after the hunt :)

Landon and Mommy

I am a member of MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and they organized a fun little Easter day!  The kiddos did a little craft first and then they got to hunt for eggs on the playground!  I thought Landon had it figured out last year BUT he really knew how to hunt eggs this year.  It was great seeing him get so excited as he filled his basket up!

Crawfish Boil

Clowning around!

Landon and my friend, April, being silly :)

Being Boys...Landon was in his element all evening playing all kinds of "hunting" games!

Our friends had us over for a crawfish boil and it was so much fun.  Landon loved looking at the live crawfish...he even ate a few and liked them but said they were spicy!  He had a GREAT time playing with his friends and I enjoyed catching up with some of my girlfriends.  Brian was out of town for work so he missed out and he was pretty bummed to miss such a fun event!

Baby and Belly Shot!

Our Lil' Pumpkin at 9 weeks and 5 days measuring at 10 weeks!

12 week belly shot!

We have had two ultrasounds of the baby so far, but the second one showed so much more that I just had to share.  It just amazes me that it is only a little over an inch big and it has all its little parts.  So blessed and excited about our new adventure.

The belly shot was taken at 12 weeks excactly!

It is that time of year...

We took the boat out for the first time this year and Landon hopped right behind it!  First in the tube and then on the ski trainer.  We are pretty sure we are going to get him on real skis this summer!  He loves being on the lake as much as we do!

Kindermasken Parade and Folkfest

Cole the Soccer Player and Landon the Race Car Driver resting after the parade!

Kite making time :)

Sweet smile =)

"Look at my snake!"

Landon and Cole showing off their face painting!

After Landon's soccer game we rushed over to downtown New Braunfels so that he could participate in the Kindermasken Parade.  This is such a great event for kiddos...they get to dress up in any costume they like and walk in a short parade route.  Landon chose to wear his Lightning McQueen race car driver outfit and enjoyed waving to the crowds on the side of the street.

The next day we met up with some friends at Folkfest (German Festival)- an event that goes right along with this.  Landon was pretty sure it was called "Pokefest" but we finally convinced him that we were indeed at Folkfest!  He and and his friend Cole had fun in the teepee, making kites, riding a hay ride, making a bird feeder, eating ice cream, looking at snakes and watching a canon go off!  We try and make it to this every year because it is just a great event for kiddos.  I feel very fortunate that we live in a town that provides so much for families!

In the middle of all the action!

Get the ball, Landon!

Landon got to play in his first soccer game the recently and I must say it was fun to watch him and all the other little ones run after the ball!  His team is BRIGHT orange and they were named Orange Crush!  I enjoy being a soccer mom and daddy sure does like seeing his boy play sports!
