Salt Mine

Brian's parents kept the little ones while the "Big Kids" went 650 ft. below the Earth's surface to see where our salt comes from. It was very interesting. There are also many important documents, films and secret formulas hidden down there. We had to wear the fashionable hats that you see!! We all had a GREAT time!

First Time in the Snow

Landon got to experience snow for the first time while we were in Kansas celebrating Christmas! He loved it! I thought he would scream when he touched it, but he enjoyed playing in it and would have played longer if we would have let him. He even ate some snow. He was not too sure about that.

The Infamous Santa Outfit

Thanks to Landon's Aunt Tammy, he gets to wear a Santa outfit this Christmas. It took 7 Wal-Marts to find one in his size!! My Mom and I went to a total of 6 in Texas. Then I got THE call (from Denver, CO) - "There has been a Santa outfit sighting..." YIPPEE! I was SOOO excited. Landon and I went to check the mail recently and Ta Dah...it was there!!! Of course I had to open the package and put the hat on right away. I will post pictures of him in the full suit later. Thanks for your help Tammy!

At The Park

Landon and I went to the park with a friend and her son last week. This was one of my favorite pictures from that day.

Fun Times With Cousin Rowan

Mary Ann, Rowan, Landon and I met to do some Christmas shopping and then we went to Red Robin to eat! Yum...they have FABULOUS burgers!! It had to be the craziest dinner out I have had since having Landon!! I will not go into all the details, but basically it was a circus. I do not think the waiter ever thought we were going to order!! Every time he came to our table one of us was gone. It was one of those "had to be there moments" to get the humor!! For those of you that have never been to Red Robin they have this HUGE robin looking mascot that comes to the tables with children!! Landon was curious and wanted to look at the robin, but he did not want the robin to look at him!! It was hilarious. We did get some good pictures though...Landon LOVES the camera.

Look at me...I am a BIG boy!

Landon's 1st Christmas Present

Landon was so excited...he got to open his first Christmas present while we were down in the Valley! When we arrived at my parents there was a package in our room just for our Little Guy from his surrogate Gramma Peggy and Gary. We let him open it while she was at the house and it was so much fun. He really liked the curly ribbon part of the wrapping. I know you are all in suspense and want to know just what he got, so I will tell you...an Amazing Animals Choo Choo Train. Landon LOVES it. There are three different areas that you push to hear music or animal sounds and it moves across the floor so that he can chase after it! His favorite animal is the monkey. I think it's because it is the perfect size for his little hands. Thanks Peggy and Gary!!
