Meme came to the rescue when I was having really bad back problems!  She came into town for about a week and a half and helped with all the lifting that goes on when you have a baby!  I was able to go to a chiropractor and get fixed up in the meantime which was so helpful!  Thanks for all the help Meme!

While she was in town we made sure to make the rounds at all the FUN places...Peter Piper Pizza, Orange Leaf, Buc-ee's, etc.  Meme was also able to watch Landon at soccer camp!

- still in a size 2 diaper, and fit into a lot of 9 month clothing but some pieces are still too big!

Buc-ee's opened up in New Braunfels in May and it has been a HUGE hit by the locals and tourists!  We have gone several times already, mainly because Landon loves it so much.  They have brought gas prices down around town so that is a major plus!  This particular visit was with his friend Cole.  We took the boys to the movies and then they really wanted to stop in Buc-ee's before heading home!  You would think it was an amusement park!

Landon played his first season of t-ball in the spring and ever since then he has been hooked on baseball!  Brian and Landon went to the Missions game with Landon's buddy, Max and his dad, Josh!  They had a fabulous time and even got to watch fireworks at the end of the game!

Company Picnic

The company Brian works for has an annual picnic in the park every summer.  This was our second time to go and Landon had a blast.  It is very kid friendly...face painter, balloon artist, bounce houses, Amy's ice cream, sidewalk chalk, etc.  You can see that Landon thoroughly enjoyed himself!

June 3rd at Target!

June 4th loss #4!

Landon pulled tooth #3 out in the Target parking lot and the very next day he pulled tooth #4 out in our driveway!  The tooth fairy was a busy girl!  Sad the pictures are blurry but they were taken with my phone!  He is thrilled beyond belief to be losing his teeth.  His top 2 teeth are also loose so we will have that silly toothless smile soon enough!

Brian and I decided that McKenzie's mohawk needed a little trim.  She lost all of her hair at 5 months old except for the top part!  It was getting a little funny looking the longer it grew, so she got her FIRST hair cut.  I must say, it was a little sad seeing her birth hair get snipped off, but I got used to her new look pretty quickly!  I took her by myself, so I was unable to get any video or pictures during the actual haircut.  I made sure to get some before and after though...have to document this milestone!

Landon LOVED checking for eggs each morning and he enjoyed feeding the chickens!

Every Memorial Day, Brian's family (on his Dad's side) has a reunion on the family farm.  We have only been to it when Landon was 4 months old.  We decided since we did not go up to Kansas at Christmas because McKenzie was so little, we would make the trip there for this FUN event!  Brian was able to join us for the long weekend and we sure enjoyed Daddy time!  Landon loved everything about the farm...riding his bike to the creek, gardening, checking for eggs, feeding chickens, swinging, roasting marshmallows, making s'mores, the hay ride, swimming and just having good ol' boy fun (getting as dirty as possible)!  He later realized that these occur every year and was a bit put out with us that he had only been to one before this one!  His Aunt Vi let him know that he would get a personal invitation next year!  One of his favorite things was riding his bike in a big barn.  The cousins had bike races and after riding in circles for 3 days he mastered turning on his bike!  Landon thoroughly enjoyed his weekend on the farm and he cannot wait to until the next reunion!
