Date with my Knight!

Chick-fil-A sponsored a Mother-Son Date Knight!  I made reservations with my little knight.  It just happened to fall on the same night as his first t-ball game so we headed over right after his game!  They transformed one area into a "castle" with brick wall covering.  They served us at our tables and gave each knight a goody bag and each mom a flower.  After we were done eating our meal, we were invited to the sundae bar.  Landon loved choosing all his special toppings!  I let him play for a bit and then it was time to go home and get some sleep since he had preschool the next day!  He really enjoyed the evening and he keeps asking when we can do it again.  Love making memories with my lil' guy!

Landon began his first season of T-Ball this month and he LOVES it!  He is on the Texas Rangers Team with some of his friends.  He enjoyed his position as a short stop during his first game and he really focuses on the ball when it is his turn to bat.  He looks forward to each practice and game!  If this excitement continues I may very well be that mom that lives at the baseball fields when he gets a bit older!  And if this is his passion, I would not have it any other way!

- giggled for the 1st time on March 10th!  It is such a sweet sound! 

- took your 1st road trip to Meme and Pa's in Port Isabel.  You were amazing on the trip there and back!

- take a bottle now!

- are waking up a lot less at night and sometimes not at all!

- are always moving...strangers even comment how much you kick your legs and wiggle while we are out and about.

- will only drink from a bottle if the milk is just the right temperature! 

- play with your hair.

- roll all over the place.

- grab everything you can get your hands on and take it straight to your mouth!

- are super smiley!

We had a great time visiting my parents for the week of spring break.  Landon pretty much had our week planned out before we ever got there.  He had it in his head that we would make juice from fruit.  Well, that would be great if Meme owned a juicer that would do such a thing!  She did not want to disappoint, so when we arrived there was a brand new juicer ready to be used along with all kinds of fresh fruit.  He also wanted to go swimming in their neighborhood pool, so he did that a couple of times.  He played a lot with his cousin, Rylen and they both made McKenzie smile and giggle!  A great time was had by all!

Landon loves animals, rides, fair food, etc. so, my mom, Aunt Do and I took him to the stock show while we were in the valley for spring break! McKenzie got to go too of course, and I am pretty sure her favorite part were all the carnival ride lights! We watched a puppet show, looked at pigs, horses, cows, lambs, ate some great food and rode LOTS of rides!

I love taking my kiddos to this because, I went every year as a child, and I have very fond memories of my time spent there!

A fishing they will go...

Landon's Uncle Ryan took Landon and Brian out fishing!  Landon loves going fishing with Uncle Ryan because he always finds the fish.  They got into a great group of trout and Landon hooked and reeled in about 6 trout and then he also got to reel in Dad and Uncle Ryan's fish too.  He was soooo excited each time he hooked one and landed it in the boat, and he was just as irritated/mad when the fish would get off.  I love how passionate he is about fishing and I enjoyed hearing all the stories when he returned back from his time on the boat!  Thanks for another fun experience in the bay Ryan!
