Our family reunion was held in Toledo Bend this year and we all had a great time! It is always nice to see so many family members and there was so much to do! We really enjoyed swimming in the pool, the guys went fishing, we hung out in the meeting room and chatted while the kiddos went wild, and we even enjoyed singing and dancing! :) I look forward to these reunions every year and I am glad Landon is having the opportunity to grow up knowing all of his extended family members. He would wake up and right away say, "I need to go play with my cousins!" Thanks Dale and Melinda for hosting a fabulous reunion...see everyone in Baton Rouge next year!

Landon and I are on the go just about daily...either meeting friends at Schlitterbahn, a neighborhood pool, the zoo, the park, etc. We love to get out and about and Landon has become very social and always wants to be around his friends! We have spent most of the summer in the water because it is the perfect place to be in this summer heat! I feel so fortunate to have met so many great mommy friends and happy that Landon gets to hang out with so many kiddos his own age.

Landon and I met Mary Ann and her kiddos at Emerald Rainbow (an awesome inddor play area)for one last playdate before they moved to South Dakota. Rowan, or RoDawg, as Landon calls him had so much fun bouncing in the jump castles and bowling at the mini bowling alley. Tatum and Parker had fun too...climbing all over the squishy blocks and people watching. It was a nice meeting up for one last time before the big move...Landon and Rowan are real buddies and love goofing off together. Mary Ann and I were able to squeeze in a little chat time in between watching the kiddos. Enjoy the next chapter in your life Fredrickson Family...we are going to miss you to the moon and back. Love you bunches. :)

Landon attended British Soccer Camp this summer and had so much fun. His group had only 3 year olds in it and it was simply hilarious to watch them in their 1st organized sport experience. Coach Lauren was wonderful with them BUT whatever she got paid that week was not enough!

Landon is officially a swimmer and we could not be more proud of him. He put everything he has learned in lessons together and he SWIMS! It so amazing to watch the progress he has made in just a few weeks. He will jump off the side of a pool swim, turn around and swim back to the steps/edge. He will also swim from a shallow area into the deep, get air and swim some more. He is so happy about being able to swim as well...he will tell people we are around, "Watch me, I can swim all by myself!"

We took him to the pool after his lesson one evening and got him underwater!

Landon got to participate in Sclitterswim (Schlitterbahn swim lessons) this year since he is the magic age of 3! Seems like at age 3 so many doors open up for the little ones! They do an awesome job and we were so pleased with his progress. It took a bit for him to warm up to his teachers and for him to trust them but once he came around he was our little fish! He loves to wear goggles now and constantly has his head in the water looking around. He will now dive down (with some assistance) into the 4 foot area for toys. That is his favorite thing to do right now. He will swim a short distance and can do a great belly float! we are continuing lessons all summer in hopes that we have a solid swimmer by September!

Last Sunday we took the Fredricksons out on the boat. Little did we know that the lake would flood on Wednesday. The boys (Landon and Rowan) had an absolute blast on the ski trainer and tube. When Brian would stop the boat, thinking they had had enough, they would inform us that they were not done. They tubed and skied their little hearts out and laughed so hard on the tube whenever they would hit a wave and get bounced around. It was Parker and Tatum's first time on a boat and they did fantastic. They were entertained by just watching the boys and enjoying the sunshine and boat ride. They will be behind the boat soon enough. :) Great memories were made...can't wait to do it again!

We finally got the boat out for the first time this season on Memorial Day. We waited until late in the day so it would not be so crowded and it worked out well! Landon was so excited to get on his ski trainer...he cracked us up when he would give people a thumbs up when we passed them and he made sure to wave too! Friendly little skier we have. :)

We also enjoyed some pool time. Landon loves being in the water and he especially loved being thrown up in the air. He would ask Daddy to throw him because he could get him really high!

First, I want to start off with a little disclaimer on the outfit...Landon dresses himself everyday and usually 5 times or more a day, so this was one of his fashion statements ~ tie dyed shirt, camo shorts and his winter Crocs! The redfish visor is almost always on his head these days as well! Hilarious site but he was happy so that is what counts! I must add (in his defense) he generally does a great job picking out matching outfits but today must have been Silly Sunday!

It was rather hot on Sunday so we let him play with the water hose and he sure had fun. We do this every Summer and he has just as much fun each time. He thought it was really good when he was able to spray us...all 3 of us were soaked after this adventure.
