We always visit the fair every year at least once and sometimes twice!  This year Landon entered 2 things...a shoebox float and a photo he took of McKenzie!  He placed 3rd on his photo...we are so proud of him!  We made sure to eat our favorite fair food ~ pork chop on a stick, Landon had a cheeseburger and an icee, and McKenzie will have to wait to experience "fair" food next year!  Landon rode all the rides he could...there are some he really wanted to ride but he has to grow a few more inches!  He has no fear and loves all carnival rides!  He visited the baby chicks and remembered how to make them go to sleep and he enjoyed the petting "zoo."  McKenzie was a trooper, and took in all the sites from her stroller but it will be a different story next year!

You...
- are on the move and soooo close to walking!
- get so excited when Daddy walks in the door!
- like eating ALL baby food now...even the green stuff!
- are a 4-wheeler and climb into and over everything!
- "talk" all the time!
- are super happy and smile a lot!
- say, "Hi!" and wave to everyone...people in stores, on our walks, at Landon's school,etc.
- got your 3rd tooth the week of Labor day!
- started a music class with Ms. Brooke...you love being around other kiddos!
- went to childcare for the 1st time so mommy could workout! You ended up with a cold so we did not go back but you did so good and did not cry at all. We will try this again when you are older.
- have a serious temper and can throw an Oscar winning tantrum!
- are spending 4 of your days with only Mommy because Landon started Kindergarten.
- tasted a sno-cone for the first time!
- love saying, "Uh-Oh!"
- so happy when you are with your brother...you belly laugh and smile at everything he does!
- maybe saying, "Daisy" but we are not positive.
- got your flu shot and found out you weigh 18 pounds at that visit!
- would prefer to play with Landon's hotwheels over any other toy...your brother is not totally happy about this, but he does share!

Landon started Kindergarten on September 4th!  I have told Landon since he was very young that when he turned 5 and went off to kinder that I was going to cry and he would always tell me, "No, you cannot cry!"  Well, amazingly enough I did not!  I think it is because he is going to the same school he went to preschool and the class and school is small.  Next year will definitely be a whole new ball game and I am pretty sure I will not hold it together as well! 

Landon James, mommy and daddy are so proud of the boy you have become, and we hope you have an amazing year of Kindergarten!  You have grown up so much and we cannot wait to see what is in store for you!

*You lost you 5th tooth the night before Kindergarten!  You love your new "window" in your mouth!
