It is not every day that you can play in rain puddles, so we took advantage of the opportunity after the rain came down!  Landon was so excited and by the end of the puddle jumping adventure he was soaked!  Nothing like some good ol' cheap entertainment!

McKenzie is 4 months old...

McKenzie is really starting to show her personality and showing us just how different she is than her brother!  It amazes me how different 2 kids can be that come from the same parents!  It sure adds spice to our life!  Happy that we have two, unique little individuals!  I took her to her 4 month well check and it turned into a sick visit because she had caught her first cold.  Thankful it was not RSV.  She is 26 inches and weighs 12 lbs., 8 ozs.  She is tall (95%) and skinny (25%). 

McKenzie you...
- rolled from your tummy to your back AND your back to your tummy on January 31st!
- have become more high maintenance and let it be known if you are not happy.
- are being very resistant to taking a bottle.
- love smiling at your brother!  He always brings a smile to your face!
- eat your toes! ;)
- are still very social and want to be out of your stroller/carseat if you are awake. 
- smile at anyone that talks to you!  You have a shy smile and turn your head after you smile!
- are very tactile and play with anything you can get your hands on.  You fall asleep by playing with a blanket.

His completed masterpiece!  If you look closely, you can see that he placed his pepperoni in the shape of a heart as well.  He did that on purpose!

My Valentine's Day Date :)   For all of you wondering...this is not coffee!  It is jazzed up chocolate milk!

Landon's valentines he took to school this year!  I was lucky to find the printables on an awesome blog!  He wrote his name on the backs of them because the space was way too small up front!

We had a GREAT Valentine's Day!  Landon celebrated at school with a special snack and drink.  They also played BINGO.   He took Star Wars Valentines to his friends and all the kiddos exchanged with each other!  He was super proud of his box full of goodies!

After school, Landon, McKenzie and I headed to Starbucks for a Valentine's date!  Landon enjoyed an awesome glass of chocolate milk with whipped topping and extra chocolate syrup.  I had a yummy iced latte!  Brian was out of town for the week for business, so he and Landon gave me a Starbucks gift card the Sunday before Valentine's Day!  Landon was as excited as I was about the date!  He even special ordered his own drink!

That evening we made heart shaped pizzas for supper and enjoyed each other's company.

Kindergarten, here comes Landon...

I cannot believe the time has finally come to register Landon for Kindergarten.  Since Landon was itty bitty I have told him that when he turns 5 and goes to Kinder I am going to cry, and he would always tell me, "No, you cannot cry!"  I have actually held it together so far, but all I have done is register him for the BIG milestone year!  I do feel at ease because he will be attending private Kinder at the same school he goes to preschool, so it probably will not really hit me until he enters 1st grade at our neighborhood public school.  He is very excited about going to Kindergarten.  He is extremely social and loves being at school and around his friends, so I know he will do great.  McKenzie and I will miss him throughout the day, but I am sure he will fill us in on all the excitement when we pick him up each afternoon! 

Congrats on a new milestone Landon...Mommy and Daddy are so proud of the big boy you have become!
