We went camping at Jellystone Park in Waller over the weekend and had a FABULOUS time! The kiddos and adults thoroughly enjoyed our time there! They were celebrating Boo Boo's Birthday while we were there, so all the activities were based on that theme...super fun! They have a water park, super tall speed slides, a petting zoo, putt-putt golf, karaoke, hayrides, and many other activites that will keep you busy from sun up to sun down! The Shooks invited us to join them on this adventure and we are so glad they did because it is definitely a place we would return to! :) Landon is still talking about Yogi Bear and all the fun he had!

We had a great family day at Landa Park yesterday! I entered a photo contest and WON and the prize was all day activity passes at the park! So we started at the paddle boats and got to see lots of fish, ducks, birds and turtles! We then headed to the pool and enjoyed the spring fed area even though it is freezing at first and then Landon played in the kiddie pool for awhile. We finished the day with a train ride and a rainbow popsicle for the lil' guy! He told us that he had a fun day so mission was accomplished...a fun day was definitely had by all! :)

Just had to add this one too...dancing is on top of his list of fun things to do as well!

We try and take Landon to the river every weekend that we are in town to do some fishing because he loves it so much. He has become quite the fisherman and will drop his line in, wait for the fish to bite and reel it in...well most of the time (until he gets side tracked with the worms or the fun stuff in his tackle box!) Since being at the fishing tournament he wants to measure and weigh each fish he catches and I think that is so cute to watch!

We finally took the boat out for the first time since the flood and we all got to swim in the lake and Landon got to ski. He even had his first big crash off the ski trainer and we were a little worried he would not want to get back on but as soon as we got him in the boat he asked to get back on the ski! We were happy that he bounced back fast! We have a little dare devil on our hands! ;)

Landon is 3 going on 13...he would not sit with my dad and I because he said he wanted to sit all by himself! He eventually had a change of heart! :)

Landon hanging out on a pier that I used to play on as a kid. I spent countless hours on this pier and the ones around it during fishing tournaments. We used to catch ink fish in our nets and who knows what else. Great memories!

Landon entered his second TIFT this year and he ended the 2 day tournament with 15 perch! It was so fun to watch him because fishing is truely his passion and it brings him such joy! You can see the twinkle in his eyes as he reels in and holds his catch. He wants to thank Pa for all his help...they were a great little team. :) This tournament has a special place in our hearts since Landon is the 4th generation to fish TIFT.
