Exotic Resort Zoo

Landon feeding a deer

Landon and G-Ma feeding a llama

Loving the friendliest camel ever :)

Papa and Daddy

The tour guide instructed us to drop the food into the buffalo's mouth and that is what we did...pretty interesting and gross!

The camel is STILL looking for more food.

The view from the grilling deck...very nice way to end the day.

Landon checking Elli's heart...all is good!

The awesome view! :)

Brian's parents are in town visiting from Kansas, and his sister and her family recently moved to San Antonio so we decided to try out a new adventure and stay one night in Johnson City at this awesome animal farm. Tammy, his sister, found this great place and we would definitely go back sometime. It is fun for all ages. As soon as we arrived we took our tour of the grounds and hand fed many types of deer, zebras, ostriches, buffalo, llamas and a camel. The camel was the most persistent and friendliest. He followed us as far as he could and even had his head stuck up in our trailer area. Back at the cabin area, they have a petting zoo, playground and swimming pool all overlooking the beautiful hill country. After cooling off in the pool, the guys grilled us some steaks and chicken and we ended they day with a tasty meal. We visited the petting zoo and playground one more time in the morning and then headed to the LBJ Ranch and Enchanted Rock...some very fun and busy days! :)

Great pics of a great time! I still can't get over the "my dear" that Landon so fondly befriended. I also laugh when I think about swimming next to camel and zebras. The whole thing is just unusual, but very fun!

We love the JC Zoo we took the kids there last year and then had Rooster's 5th b-day party there. It was great!!
