Wrapping Up April...

Proof he is not quite ready to give up naps...he crashed on the way home from an early evening trip to HEB after a napless day. He woke up just enough to let me brush his teeth and change him into his jammies and he was then out until the morning, It is tough being 3 and playing hard all day!

April was a busy month...birthdays, playdates, weekend family activities, etc. These pictures show you a glimpse of the fun we had and some very special people we got to hang out with. We could not be happier about the warm weather that is upon us. We love the sunshine and cannot wait to take advantage of everything New Braunfels has to offer in the summer months! :)

Daddy pushing Landon into the waves in his dump truck...he would have done this all day! If he did not fly off of it, then he would jump out and crash into the waves on his own. It was so fun to watch him have such a great time in the ocean!

This past weekend we celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary! We go to Port A every year and it is always a fun little trip to look forward to and a good little get away...nothing like getting some nice salt air and a little sand between your toes!

Landon loves the beach and if he was not in the water crashing into the waves he was running his dump truck down the beach and filling it up with gas (AKA shells)!

It was a great weekend filled with laughter, some rest ;), lots of sand, warm sunshine, great food and even better company! Cannot believe we have been married 8 years...it has gone by so fast and I can't wait to find out what is in store for us the next 8! :)

Landon's 1st Bowling Experience

We took Landon to bowl on Sunday and we thought he would love it! He was super excited and talked about it all the way to the bowling alley...he could not wait to put on his bowling shoes and get started...this excitement lasted for all of 2 maybe 3 frames! He was expecting his ball to fly down the lane and crash all the pins and when he could not make his ball go as fast as he wanted he decided that he was done bowling and it was time to eat ice cream and people watch. He did enjoy being at the bowling alley; he is just not a fan of bowling. He informed us that he is a fisherman not a bowler! :)

While we were visiting my parents we took the little cousins to Sears to get their picture taken and they did very well. They just love each other and were way more interested in playing than posing, but we still got some cute shots and great smiles! Meme and Pa love getting pictures with them together, so they put their big smiles on for them! :)

Landon loved this little cow...I would not mind having it as a pet either, pretty low maintenance!

We celebrate Easter in Goliad every year with several family members on my Mom's side. Goliad does a community egg hunt on Saturday morning and Landon was the perfect age for it...he had so much fun visiting with the bunny and finding eggs! He has come a long way...he is not very fond of costumed creatures so I was pretty shocked that he liked this bunny so much. Very cute to watch him interact with it!
