Landon, McKenzie and I headed to Kansas the end of May. It was my longest road trip with both kiddos by myself and it went very well. We broke up the trip and stayed in Gainesville and then went the rest of the way the next day. The kiddos were great travelers! Papa and Landon went fishing the first day we were there and the girls just enjoyed being outside! Landon was determined to catch a fish so we stayed a long time but the fish must have not been hungry! The second day we went to the zoo in Hutchinson...it is a small zoo but Landon enjoyed looking at all the animals, "milking" a cow, sliding down a dinosaurs throat, feeding ducks, etc.! We spent over a week in Kansas so I will include our next adventures in the next post!
