The hole got...we called it the manmade Graco play-pen!  He would play in this forever!
Action frisbee shot!

Loved the white sand and clear, blue water!

Enjoying his special treat!

We arrived in Panama City just one day after Tropical Storm Lee landed so it made for an interesting couple of days but we made the best of it and had a blast in the wind, rain and finally awesome sunshine and calm seas!

The first day we arrived it was raining but not storming so we were able to walk on the beach for a bit and Landon swam in the pool!  It was COLD because of the wind and drop in temperature but he enjoyed himself!

The second day was extremely windy mixed with a little rain!  We lasted in the pool for a short time and tried to eat our lunch under a cabana by the pool...that was a funny site!  We had to hold our food down so it would not blow away!  We all enjoyed a great nap after lunch...realxation is what vacation is all about, right?  We ended the night at a tasty restaurant!

The third day was still a bit windy but a really nice day, however, the ocean was still closed to swimmers due to the rip currents.  We still got to enjoy the entire day in the sand!  Landon helped an older girl build a BIG hole that eventually reached the water, we walked down a long pier and watched fisherman catch sharks, we built a sand castle and were able to get our toes wet in the ocean.  Landon mastered the art of frisbee throwing on this day as well!

We had to check out on day four, but since it was the BEST day weather wise, we got extended check-out and fully enjoyed swimming in the beautiful, clear ocean water.  Landon used his mask and was able to see lots of fish.  We ended our stay with strawberry smoothies...yum!

We loved our time at Panama City Beach, and Landon has already informed us that we need to take Baby Girl when she comes out of mommy's tummy!

Pilot Landon

Doing his pre-flight checks

"Mom - go sit down, we've got this under control" :)

When Landon walked on the plane in Houston heading to Panama City he asked the flight attendant if he could see where the pilot sits to fly the plane (no shy-ness here)!  She was super nice and let him join the co-pilot up in the cockpit!  He got to steer and mess with the throttles!  He is still talking about his "flying" experience!

First Day of Preschool 2011

Ready to go...

Outside of the school... He was so excited to wear his new shoes!  Mommy finally broke down and bought him light up shoes!  I am so not a fan, but he was thrilled!  Shoe shopping was always one of my favorite things about back to school shopping, so I am happy that he is happy!

Landon with his teacher, Mrs. Griscom :)

Landon started preschool today and he could not have been more excited!  He has been going to some form of "school" since he was almost 2 and he LOVES it.  He is my little social bug and enjoys being around his friends!  We went to his open house and conference last week and he did not understand why I could not leave him at school for the day!  I know he will have a GREAT year, and I look forward to hearing all the stories he is going to come home telling us!

Landon and Jacob enjoying the popsicle treat on the last day!

Landon attended his second British Soccer Camp a few weeks ago and he absolutely LOVED it!  His friends were on his team and he had the best coaches!  They were super goofy and made the game of soccer so fun for the boys!  Wednesday was "Wacky Wednesday" and the boys could dress CRAZY...Landon chose to wear shorts on his head, a mustache, mismatched clothes and different colored socks!  The coaches had different games for them to play that helped them learn lots of soccer skills!  It was a great experience and Landon was sad it only lasted a week!  Definitely something we will do again next summer!
