We had a fun weekend that started with a great play date on Friday, then a jumpin' good time at birthday party on Saturday and lunch with my very good friend Eliette on Sunday!

Brian was out of town last week on business, so my Mom came up and hung out with Landon and I and BOY did we have fun. Meme got to experience what we do day to day...play groups, Mother's Day Out, trips to the park, Zoo outing, etc. Landon and Meme had great fun playing with each other and I enjoyed having her around too! Since we do not live really close to each other these great bonding moments don't happen as much as we would like. Thanks for coming to visit us Meme...we sure enjoyed your stay!

Saturday night we went to Chuck E. Cheese's for the first time and Landon could hardly contain his excitement! Brian and I had so much fun watching him...he instantly lit up and started moving his dancin' feet as soon as we walked in the door. We some how got him to eat first and then we played for quite some time. It is definitely a place we will go back to.

Brian, Landon and I took advantage of the GREAT weather today and went to the park! Landon loves the sand, stairs, slides, swings and just about everything at the park!! When we asked him if he was ready to go he said, "No, No, No!" He also waved to all the people in the train as it passed by and told everyone, "Hi!" It was a great family outing!

Landon is TWO!! We celebrated his birthday on the 24th at J&R Gymnastics. Landon and his friends had so much fun running, jumping and swinging on everything. The pit and trampoline were the favorites! The theme was Nemo since Landon is obsessed with fish. He likes all animals but fish are his all time favorite! Thanks to everyone that came and helped us celebrate Landon's big day.

Landon and his Cousin Rowan got to play in a water fountain and listen to some live music over the weekend! They thought it was the best. Good thing we had extra clothes in the car! Nothing like splashin' in the water and making a big mess when you are a toddler! Our biggest challenge was keeping them from climbing in the fountain...fun times!

See Saw FUN!

We had an interesting start to the New Year...Landon came down with a stomach bug that landed him in the hospital overnight due to dehydration. This happened last week and he is completely back to normal and just recently got his appetite back. Poor guy...it was so sad to see, but he bounced back fast like all lil' ones do! The overnight hospital stay with a sick kiddo was a first and hopefully last for us.

These are some random pictures I have taken recently. Some are at the park, the weather has been gorgeous here and it is so nice to get out and enjoy it. He loves to be outside! He also had his last Kindermusik class today, he got to groove to the music and make lots of noise!

We rang in the New Year in Kansas with Brian's family. We had dinner at Applebee's and then had some friendly competition on the Wii! Everyone seemed to enjoy bowling, golfing and playing a few tennis matches! Landon had a FABULOUS time with his Pa Pa and Ga-Ma. Since he is fascinated with hats, he quickly scoped out Pa Pa's hats and made sure they both wore one while they played together. He really liked playing Ga-Ma's piano...the low keys were his favorite!

Brian's brother, Mike, and his family joined us and we celebrated Christmas together on New Year's Day! The little ones loved opening presents and it was so fun to see their faces light up as they saw their new toys! We had a nice Christmas dinner and enjoyed all the baked goods and snacks that Ga-Ma prepares! Landon especially LOVED her cranberry salad and dried apples!

We had a fantastic New Year and we were so glad we could spend it with family.

Good Bye Y'all!

We went to my parents house in Port Isabel for Christmas this year...a FUN time was had by all! Landon totally got the concept of unwrapping presents and he is loves his new toys! He had a great time with MeMe and Pa. MeMe made him scrambled eggs every morning, gave him sweets when we were not looking and let him play with her cell phone (something we do not let him do)! Pa took Landon on golf cart rides, let Landon wear his favorite hat and gave up his cell phone too! Landon is obsessed with phones! We enjoyed playing the Wii, spending time together, eating out, going on a boat ride and playing with Landon's new toys! This was such a great Christmas...Landon brought extra joy to it!

Landon and I went with my friend, Bridgette, to Buda Fest with her girls Grace and Maddie. We started off the morning watching the parade, which was fun. The kiddos sat in the wagon and waved to all the people passing by and ran for the candy when it was thrown out. Then we rushed to Santa and Mrs. Claus' picture taking station, but they were "feeding the reindeer" so we had to wait a bit until they arrived. Landon loved this visit with Santa as much as he did the visit a few weeks ago!! I thought that he would do better since Mrs. Claus was there, but not quite...maybe next year! We were then off to the carnival rides. We had a great day and it was so nice to catch up with an old friend and see the kiddos interact with each other.
