Meeting Miss Lily

Landon and I went to Cypress so that we could meet his girlfriend Lily. She was born in November but we had not had the chance to see her in person (only in pictures.) She is a real cutie! They both enjoyed having company in the car. It is no fun sitting in the back all by yourself. They took turns talking, crying and sleeping. :) We went to the mall so that Lily could get her Easter pictures taken in her pretty dress. They both got to sit on the Easter Bunny's lap. We actually got a smiling one of Landon! He screamed his head off at Santa but did much better with the bunny. It was great to hang out with McCalle and the little ones will enjoy playing together when they get older. We had a TERRIFIC time. Thanks for the hospitality McCalle, Mike and Lily!

Freedom Fest

Concan had their Annual Freedom Fest while we were there. We got to sample some tasty ribs and fajitas. They had a game called Chicken Bingo...this is where you buy a square for $3 and a lady lets 3 chickens out of a cage into an area that has 20 squares and if the chicken poops in your square then you when about $30. It was pretty funny. I have never watched chickens so intently and cheered for them to poop in "my" square. Needless to say "my" square was not pooped in.

Concan

Landon and I went to Concan last weekend. We got to spend time with my family. We had a GREAT view from our cabin. The nights and mornings were cold, but the days were perfect! Landon kept trying to eat the rocks, but he was not successful because I am too fast for him...right now at least. It was too cold out to get in the water but is definitely a place to go to in the HOT summer. Brian could not join us because he had to work. We will have to go again so that he can experience the Frio River.

Milk Monster

Here is my lil' guy making a mess while he is eating breakfast. He likes the sippy cups with straws but he also likes that he can put his finger tip in the top of the straw and flick it so milk sprays out! Very FUN times for Landon!!

Playing in the Grass

Landon really enjoys playing with bouncy balls. He will throw a ball down and watch as it bounces and rolls away and then he will chase after it and throw it again.

Outdoor Fun

The weather has been so nice here lately. I took Landon on a stroll in his wagon for the first time. He snacked on Puffs, drank water and looked around at all the houses in the neighborhood. He LOVES the outdoors. It was very windy so I had to chase the hat a couple of times, but other than that we had a great time. He also likes playing in his play structure outside. It is so amazing to watch him develop more and more everyday.

Grammy's Visit

Grammy came to visit for a few days. I enjoyed playing with her and I especially liked it when she took me outside to swing. I love the outdoors! My Grammy's friend Katy came over one day, and this is a picture of all of us. Check out my tongue...twisting my tongue upside down is my new trick. My Mommy and Daddy can't even do it.
