Spring is in the air...

I love when the weather starts to warm up, and the leaves and grass turn green again! We had a mild winter, but I prefer warm weather over cold year around! We went to the lake for the first time this year and McKenzie had fun running around everywhere and Landon caught his first catfish of the year! We had two happy kids!

Texas Bluebonnets

Taking the kiddos pictures in the bluebonnets is one of my favorite things to do every spring! It was a bit sunny but we still got some good ones! Landon loves this tradition and I think McKenzie will like it better next year! She warmed up to the idea but she was not a fan at first!

Happy Easter!

Every Easter we go to Goliad and celebrate with our immediate and extended families! It is so much fun...Landon definitely looks forward to it and counts down the days until we leave! He loves country living and would move out there if he could! The boys had fun cruising on the gator and looking for pigs, deer and turkey! Landon and all his cousins fished a lot! We went to the square in Goliad on Saturday morning for the annual Easter egg hunt, and they even had some extra activities this year. We had our big meal with all of our family later that day and then the kiddos continued to enjoy ranch life! This was McKenzie's second Easter and she knew what was going on and really enjoyed hunting for eggs...she was even more excited when she learned there were goodies inside each egg! We are thankful that Cousin Lara and her boyfriend, Will, dyed eggs with the kiddos and helped with the piñata! It was a great time and we made some lasting memories!
